Making an appointment

We would ask that clients telephone the office in advance in order to arrange an appointment, so that the solicitor dealing with the matter is available and so that the file may be brought to hand. Appointments outside ordinary office hours can in most cases be arranged where a client is unable to attend during the working day, and a solicitor will call to a client's home, to a hospital or to a nursing home where the client is unable by reason of age, illness or infirmity to attend at the office.

When attending for a first appointment it is helpful, although not essential, to bring with you any documentation relevant to the matter, together with photographic identification and a recent utility bill or bank statement showing your address. The firm, in common with all solicitors' practices in this jurisdiction, is obliged by the legislation concerning money laundering to verify the identity and address of its clients.

How to find us

Our offices are situated on Clonbrook Street, which runs between the town centre and the older part of the town on the western side of the river. Coming from Custume Place, proceed past the bridge and take the second turn on the right. We are the third building on the left hand side, a two storey premises of grey stone with a black door and a brass plate. Athlone railway station is approximately ten minutes on foot from our door and the bus stops in the town centre are closer again. Visitors travelling by motor car from Dublin or from Galway should leave the motorway at the Athlone junction and follow the signs for the town centre.
